The Dingle Single Malt “Cónocht an Earraigh” is a vibrant limited-edition Irish whiskey inspired by the Celtic festival marking the arrival of spring. As part of the acclaimed “Wheel of the Year” series from Dingle Distillery, It celebrates the spring equinox (Cónocht an Earraigh), symbolising balance and seasonal renewal.
It is bottled at 50.5% ABV, is non-chill filtered, and is a distillery bottling. This expression is matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Hedgerow berries and juicy dark plums, burnt brown sugar and toasted marzipan.
- Palate: Dark treacle toffee and jammy red fruit pastries, softly sweet baking spice, charred oak, and gingerbread.
- Finish: A sweet finish with rich vinous fruit and leathery oak.
